Hi Helen, Please don't forget to mention to Pat Holden, if she knows any Cadets to get in contact with them and let them know about the reunion. Word of mouth travels faster than the Internet sometimes! The more of us there, the better time will be had! Peace, Joe Tomazic aka bugleboy

Cadets remains one of my fondest memories. I traded my fife for a rifle in the color guard. My sister Toni was a drummer and my brother Joe a horn. I was in the M&M color guard and we competed everywhere on the LI circuit. They are great memories. I just loved tossing that rifle across to my partner. Sometimes when I have a broom in my hand I give it a twirl like the old days.
The St. Mary's reunion was really sweet. Add me to the list and let me know when you plan to assemble the old cadets together. Count me in!

Hi Patricia, Perhaps you were out by the time I was in.. I graduated St. Mary's in 1972. The reunion is set for October 9th from 2-6 in Franklin Square. Just e-mail me and I will give you the address to send your check... $35 for Cadets & $15 for spouse/guest. The place only holds 100 so we are reserving first come/first serve when we receive payments. It will be a lot of fun! See you then... suehomkow@optonline.net

I definitely remember the Donato family. I see all these names and was beginning to wonder if any of the original Blue Angels Color Guard were still around. Pat , i don't know if you remember me but I remember you and your sister. Your brother;s name is familiar but I don't know if he was in the corps while I was still there. I left in late 66 early 67.

Hi Diane, How is Alicia doing? I heard from her a couple of three weeks ago. I visited her in York, PA and met her son Jimmy! Is she going to make the reunion. I sent her messages but have not gotten any responses. Peace, Joe

I just read in the alumni newsletter that they are asking for help in ressurecting the Cadets from the schools orchestra. I would be interested in getting the drums and marching program together if at all possible.

I wish I lived closer to St. Mary's, I'd love to be involved in bringing a new generation of cadets to the forefront. Alas, 100 miles each way is bit of a hike right now. Kathi

Hi Kathi. Yes the miles are a great hindrance. When Maryland moves closer to NY, I'll help myself. Have you considered a Part-time solution, maybe getting to Woodside once a month or so. A new generation of Blue Angels will need all the experienced assistance they can get. Just donating cash would benefit them no doubt, but something to be considered would be that all donations go strictly to the cadets and not be diverted to other programs the school might deem need it more. Does the CYO still exist there? Peace, Joe
