Wow - what a trip down memory lane! I doubt that many of you will remember me, but I'm sure that a few of you will remember my father "Mr. Ric". He passed away from lung cancer in '88, but not before walking me down the aisle and seeing his grandson.
I've gotten a real kick out of reading through this message board. Hey Jackie - nice picture of you! If I remember correctly, you and Gary Brown were the only two big enough to handle those drums. I seem to remember someone else trying it once (was it Timmy?) and landing square on his rear-end.
I was in 5th or 6th grade at the time that I was in the corps. I remember Jackie, Gary, Bobby (does anyone still call him that?) and of course, Eileen.
You've all brought back very vivid memories: the trip to Mass. where we did that special performance for Mr. Strucek's Mom; Mr. Alexandro's antique cars; that Halloween party where some of you showed up at my house to scare the wits out of me and my friends.
You were always a lot of fun to be around.
Best regards, -Debbie (Riccio) Semar

Hi Deb, My condolences on learning about your dad. Rick was a great help to us in Cadets, marching us everywhere, etc and in Teen club with drafting our copnstitution and rendering any advice we asked him help on. Always willing to share his experiences with us. Congrats on your nuptuals and the birth of your child. Nice seeing you here on the boards. Peace, Joe Tomazic

Hi Debbie! Nice to see you here... Of course I remember you and yes, your Dad and Mom... and didn't you have a brother also? I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing... but happy to hear he walked you down the isle and saw his grandson... nice memories to get you through the tough times... Do you remember my Dad, Charlie O'Neil... he was quartermaster for a few years while your Dad taught us to march? Hope you can make it to the Cadet's Reunion.. We're at the very early stages of planning something for the fall... Stay in touch! Sue

Hello Debbie, Your father was a great guy. He and my Dad and Uncle Al all became great friends. Ric was always a caring and humorous person to be with and treated us all like his own family. I'm sure He and both my parents are having a wonderful time together up in heaven.

Oh and Debbie, my cousin Bobbie is now called Dr. Dracker, a very well known pediatric surgeon in Syracuse. I just sold my fathers last antique car a few months back. I remember you riding in the back with your dad.

Thanks for all the kind words about Dad. Mom is doing great - she's living in New Hyde Park in a mother-daughter setup with my brother Robert and my sister-in-law. Patty - yes I remember you too! It was a lot better having you over than Mrs. Shaw (not that she wasn't a nice woman, but...) Jackie - wish I'd known about that handy-man business before we started this kitchen project this weekend!! I wasn't cut out for this kind of work - I belong at a keyboard developing websites and writing code for databases. The paint cans are beckoning. It was great hearing from all of you! Take care, -Debbie

Yo Alicia, Hey you rememebered! I think its funny that you would remember that one incident over all the other stunts we pulled, i.i. dousing John Zona with a garbage bag full of water in the Mens restroom area. Oh, what a mess! The cake thing was never meant to hurt. We just couldn't keep our hands off! We knew how good it would be. Yeah, it was wrong, but, we were young, dumb, and full of it. Peace, Joe
